Another task I explored further was the 10 things I cannot live without icons posted on May, 29. I used a different style of illustration called isometric by creating a grid and drawing 3D objects on Illustrator. I wanted to challenge myself with this as I did not enjoy the process last time. I went back to how to create a grid on Illustrator which started me off. The icons I have created are of different types of sushi but not round and organic, they are geometric, straight lines. The reason behind this was to show the isometric feel, more in a geometric form. I have been inspired by many different isometric illustrations and most are geometric. The only elements that are organic are the sushi filling and the salmon. I used basic and softer colours that I believe represents the different parts of a sushi roll.
